Hidden Gem - a diamond in the rough
I'm not sure how the little village of Spring City ended up with this club, and with one of the most notorious (for good reasons) AMPs of the region. Hidden Gem is in a residential neighborhood about half-an-hour away from the King of Prussia Mall and the Valley Forge Casino in the Philadelphia Suburbs. With some farm-country golf courses near by, it's not a bad location for a little off-the-beaten path weekend away. I always find myself enjoying this club, but it may not be well-liked by everyone.
There's a parking lot on the left side of the club facing the entrance door, and lots of parking on the street. On this weekday evening the cover charge was $5, with a walk through a metal detector. The bar is to the right - a small rectangular bar with a stage and single pole in the center. There's another pole and sitting area to the back left, but I've rarely seen it used except by practicing baby strippers. Clean enough Men's room near the bar. Private dances used to be in the back of the club, but are now in a newly renovated downstairs area. (This was my first visit back since the renovation)
On this night, there were only about 5 PLs, one with a female companion, around the bar. The dancers are varied: thin and thicc, tatted and not, youngish and oldish, mostly white with one WOC, but I found every single one to be friendly and fun to talk to. Kat, the bartender, would get my vote for coolest bartender, and she has a great smile. Surprisingly, every dancer here does great pole work!!! Typically topless by end of second song, followed by a low-pressure tip parade for dollars.
