Not fancy and mid-range dancers, but fun dances
Bandaids was the smallest of the clubs I visited in Phoenix. It's on a corner with a free parking lot. There was no cover when I arrived mid-afternoon on a Tuesday. Upon entrance there was a bar and a tiny, unused stage platform. Through the back was another room that opened up a little, with a slightly larger round stage in the center and seats around the walls. A bottle of water was $5.
The stage performance wasn't remarkable, but there were dancers going up continuously and they all danced a bit, mostly with twerking and the like. There were maybe a dozen dancers present, mostly if not entirely latina. Nearly all were thick and curvy, with unenhanced bodies.
Dancers came by my table and snuggled up. Their ability to chat in English varied. One dancer seemed overjoyed at my terrible broken Spanish, so you can get brownie points without being even remotely fluent. Table dances were $10/song. The ones I had were fine, but not very involved. Others I noticed around the room were a bit better, so it clearly varied by dancer (or relationship or tip size).
