A Friday at Diamonds

I had a friend of mine tell me that I needed to go check out Diamonds, so I went on a recent Friday night. Diamonds is a relatively new club, it’s been open for less than a year. It is the sister club to Golden Dragon, and Golden Dragon happens to be next door. Golden Dragon is a 18 and up strip club with no alcohol, because they don’t serve alcohol they can stay open later, on the weekends they close at 6 am. So when the bars and other strip joints close at 2 am, that’s when everyone heads over to Golden Dragon, it’s not too busy at Dragon until after 2. Anyways I got sidetracked talking about Dragon, my point was some of the girls at Diamonds dance till 2 am, then they’ll walk over to Golden Dragon and dance there till 6 am.

It’s a downtown club, so it doesn’t open till later. It opens at 7 pm I believe. The cover was $10 dollars. You walk in and there are 2 stages in front of you, seating to your left and right. The seating was limited for sure, it wasn’t super busy when I got there, but some people had to stand up because there were no seats available. The bar is on the opposite side of the room from the entrance. As I mentioned it’s downtown so of course the drinks were more expensive as well. It was like 8 bucks for a Corona. They had both stages going on this night, and it was a 2 song set. The stages are very high, so they can’t climb off the stage and grind on you. The stageshow is nude.

It was hard to tell how many girls there were because more kept coming in, but I would say maybe 15 girls. It was a mix of mostly white girls with a few Latinas and a couple of Asian girls. No fat girls, but there were a definitely a few of them on the thick side of things. Most of the girls were in the average 5-6 range, but there were a few 7’s with one of them being close to a 8. I recognized a few of them from Club Rouge. I think Club Rouge was firing some girls, and some of those girls came over to Diamonds.
