Just How Far Is Our Money Going?
I paid another early afternoon mid-week visit to AJ's and the situation was pretty much the same as is always the case whenever I arrive at around 1pm - about 8-10 dancers, all of whom of either Hispanic or Eastern European descent, and less than a handful of customers. They will have either 1 or 2 girls on stage for 15 minute stints so the dollar parade is very tolerable, at least during the day. The others pretty much sit at the bar glued to their phones when they aren't on stage which seems to be par for the course these days.
At the risk of sounding somewhat crude, a lot of these girls look better going than coming. I have seen over the years many dancers with really nice physiques, but the faces do not match the body at all. This time around the face:body connection was much more even, but the talent that was present was pretty much in the 5-7 range. I have never encountered a true knockout here in the more than dozen times I have visited over the years, but the same can be said about every other club in NJ.
I grabbed a Hispanic girl named Mia with long, brown hair and an average build and we went into the very well-lit lap dance area which is located to the right of the main bar. I definitely don't remember it being that bright in there before so I am assuming management wants to make sure they can catch some wrongdoings going on in there and the mileage has usually been quite high. This particular experience was not quite as satisfying as Mia basically just sat on me while I groped her breasts and ass and did very minimal grinding. Dances remain at $20 each and I did purposely did not say "$20 per song" because that is not an accurate assessment. Most of these girls decide it's time to tell you it will cost you another $20 to continue whenever they feel like it, and this is becoming an increasingly bigger problem. They are there to earn a living, not to please us, but the way a lot of them are going about it is unethical and unprofessional and too many PLs are leaving these establishments feeling completely ripped off. When I decided I was finished with Mia, I was told it was 6 dances for a total of $120 and I would estimate that we were in the room for about 15 minutes. I was not happy about this, but I did not want any trouble so I forked over the $$$ and then she had the audacity to ask me for a tip (she used the Spanish word 'propina', but I knew what that meant). I really do not like when they ask for a tip especially when they did not do anything special to warrant it so I refused. Sitting on me virtually motionless is not worthy of any extra money IMO. I really can't recommend Mia at this point and, while I have had some really good mileage with certain girls, I don't know if this is still going to be the case. I have to believe that the spotlight that is now shining on the VIP area is going to serve to deter that to at least some extent.
