Taboo Rush Hour
Stopped by recently after the immediately adjacent club XO was found empty. Upon arriving the administrator and bouncer were fighting with a group who thought they should be exempt from the $20 cover. Although it held everyone up for 20 minutes they did not manage to negotiate a reduction in price and were unsuccessful at running in past the bouncers.
Maybe because of this the staff was very friendly/apologetic as they took my money. Nonetheless the club was packed with at least 40 girls, all of which were hot—majority Latina and a strong amount still from East Europe, which seems unique these days. There must have been a greater number of guys, seating even at the bar was hard to find. For the first time in my life I was unable to order an overpriced drink in a club. The girls were less friendly than the staff, perhaps largely focused on regulars as some have suggested perhaps just focused on making as much money as possible. I had dances with two girls for $40 per dance — one had trouble counting songs and seemed to know every trick in the book to minimize the LD-to-dollar ratio (starting late, etc). She asked me for vip without mentioning the price, to which I said no thank you. In general the club was so packed that I stood in a corner and met girls as they squeezed past in a constant stream of people. This wasn’t much fun so I bounced soon after mediocre dance 2.
In sum, I think my one experience here is potentially worse than the potential of this club if the gentleman came by during a less busy time he may find the girls more attentive and less focused on high volume financial transactions.
