A Decent Trip To Plat

After a profoundly disappointing visit to Roxy's, I headed over to Platinum, arriving at about 10:40 PM. The club is in a strip mall area, and the parking lot is fairly well-lit. I've never felt uncomfortable leaving my car there, even late at night. On this evening the lot was well populated, so that was a good sign after the emptiness at their sister club Roxy's.

The last time I visited, the cover was $10, but I was able to skip that this time because of the fact that I'd been to Roxy's earlier. I did have to pass through a metal detector, and was given a pat-down by a serious looking door guy. There is a coat check, but I didn't wear one into the club. I assume it's just a couple of bucks.

I'd consider the club mid-sized, and upper-mid tier. As you walk in the door, the L-shaped bar is directly ahead, and the 2-pole stage is to the right. There's also a small stage with one pole nearer the restrooms, but it was unused most of the time I was there.
