Wokeism and Identity Politics at Sugar 44

During our work trip in Phoenix, we were splitting time between BSC, Hi-Liters, and Talking Sticks :) I was able to wrangle one guy to come with me to this place. IIRC, it's in a strip mall, or near one, sharing beside a Pizza Hut parking lot.

From the parking lot is a short hallway to the cashier. Cover was $10 and diet coke was $5. To the right of the entrance is one of the $25 lap dance area (basically a curtained, small booth). Across from the entrance is the bar and DJ. Behind that is the other $25 lap dance area. The interior is mainly black with a few neon red highlights, reminding me of Darth Vader. In the center is a small stage and pole, elevated. There are $10 dances along the wall, in small two seaters. If you get $25 dances, you have to buy a wristband which I think is $20.

Girls were hot, I want to say all white, but could have been 20% latina, probably 12-13 girls total. There were a bunch of 8s/9s, average was probably 7.5, with most skewing towards 7. Despite this, we didn't have a good time. There were two 8/9s that were right up my alley, but they were with some old dudes the whole night. We spent a small time with two girls, my friend was into the hotter girls and was determined to dance with them, but ended up striking out. Probably half the girls talked to us, and those that did they only wanted to do private dances.
