Strange decor, but attractive dancers. Mediocre dances. Meh.
Colorado was about a twenty minute drive from downtown Houston, in the "Mahatma Gandhi District". There were a bunch of restaurants nearby, Indian and otherwise. There was a large free parking lot behind the club, which required walking around the building to get in. There was a sign for a valet, but I didn't see a fee. Cover charge was $23 (including $10 as a "sexually oriented business tax" according to their website). A bottle of water was $7.
This was a large club, with a few sections, multiple bars, and a separate room with a handful of pool tables. There was one main stage and one secondary stage, with tables and chairs distributed throughout. The decor was odd, with electric guitars attached to one section of ceiling and stuffed animal heads on the walls. It reminded me a bit of a Hard Rock Cafe, with a bunch of crap everywhere without any apparent sense.
The stage show was mediocre. The dancers danced, or at least posed, they didn't just stand there and sway. But for most of them it was a pretty minimal performance. There was no stage tipping while I was there, and the dancers didn't take anything off while on stage.
