Reboot? It doesn’t seem like much has changed.

So I ventured to Ups after grabbing drinks with a friend in the area. I live on the eastside, and back In its heyday Pin Ups was by far my favorite spot, esp on Sunday nights. Boy, I had some times there, but I digress. my Last few visits have been bad to say the least. Talent was lacking and it’s low key expensive just to walk in the doors (parking, plus entry fee - sometimes $50+ combined). It’s been a while and I decide to check It out on a Saturday night. I know the club was recently closed for some Time due to a renovations, and I hadn’t heard anything besides a few reviews on here, so I decided to pop my head in. stepping foot inside I didn’t really notice anything different lol. Same layout, but If my memory serves me correctly, I think the main room had carpet, and carpet appeared to be gone, but everything else looked the same to me. Men’s bathroom was the same set up, entrance the same, rooms still set up the same, main room, middle wood paneling room with a huge bar and a room with pool tables. Maybe back of the house was rehabbed, who knows.

Dancers mix all appeared about the same as I remember. 99% BW with a couple Latina’s which was a pleasant surprise. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen Latina’s here. Ladies of All body types so pick your poison. It’s Still $5/per song for lap dances, but be careful one of the girls tried to up charge me to $10/song and didn’t say anything up front. Watch out for the spinner chic with the butterfly tattoo on her BBL’d booty. She was very lax anyway, so I stopped her after just two songs and she tried to ask for $20. Smh…bad sign, but I’m glad I didn’t leave at that point. If you’ve been here before you’ll remember the VIP seating area in the main room, which is roped off and is $20 just to sit there. I noticed a bunch of dancers sitting there by themselves at separate tables. maybe they were waiting for regulars or taking a break, but It was odd. I did meet a few other dancers that were super cool, I got dances from another one that was mid-level, nothing to write home about. Nice natural chocolate sista, but she didn’t wow me. And right before I gave up hope and called It a night, I saw one of the two Latina’s coming my way so I figured let me see what she’s about. She’s a Spinner, Very fit (6pack) with a boob job, very cute face, she spoke great English and I ended up talking to her for about 20 mins before she danced. Real cool chica…Colombian, and I have a soft spot for Colombianas. After chatting she offered to dance and of course I accepted. She let my hands roam and gave some minimal stick shifting, but nothing too crazy but best I’ve had all night. After about song 4 or 5 she offered VIP. I’ve been to PinUps at least a dozen times and have never had VIP offered, so I played dumb and asked what we could do in VIP. She gave a very graphic and hilarious explanation using her fingers and mine to show me. But get this…she said we could get an uninterrupted 30 mins session for $60 to the house. I said ok, cool…and then she said yeah and $400 for me. I busted out laughing in her face, and asked her if I was in Colombia how much would It be? She called me cheap and laughed but at least we both got a laugh out of It. I told her that was too rich for my blood and she danced a few more songs. We exchanged numbers and She asked me what other strip clubs I go to and as soon as I said Diamond and Vivide she knew why I said her price was too high. She was like “those Damn Cubans will take anything!” Hated to start Latina on Latina hate, but I told her ain’t no way $400 is going down when just a 20 minute drive could save half of that. She said she has some regulars so I guess she’s doing well enough.
