Out of the Furnace

Birmingham, AL. Saturday night. Just came from Sammy's. You know what I was going to hit some of the clubs in the southwest part of town but I just said you know fuck all this, too fucking ghetto. Birmingham has some of the roughest hoods in America. Anyway the furnace is on the northeast, industrial part of town. It's all factories around here. Pull up plenty of parking in a big lot. Walk in. Get wanded. Then because it's a private club they got you filling out forms. ID scan. Then list out your name, phone, even your JOB, address on a card, then go pay the the lady at the front I think it was $15. for non VIP I think 25 or 30 for VIP where you get to hang upstairs. Walk in finally. Set up kind of looks like something out of the end of scarface. Really fucking nice club, one of the nicest in America.

It was a good crowd, skewed mostly older. Mostly white with some black. Me in my 30's I was probably the youngest dude. It was weird though, it was one of the quietest crowds you'll ever hear. Sorta nice actually. One bouncer dude looked like a southern Phil Collins, friendly dude, I already liked him because Phil Collins is the man. Bar is on the right. Bathrooms are behind the main stage, armed with a troll. Sometimes two girls went up on the main stage sometimes one and then they were rotate off to the side stages. Lap dances are $25 a song out on those couches on the left side, you could also go upstairs if you get a VIP wristband and I'm told by dancers they let you get a way with more up there. Either way both out in the open. VIP was up to the dancer how much they charge. The one I asked said $200. Touching ok but cameras in there and not much mileage.

Dancers. For such a nice upscale club, I got to admit I wasn't that crazy about the lineup. I saw one girl I wanted but there was really no back up plan. Probably two or three girls guys on here would go ga ga over but that would be it out of a lineup of about 25. Black, white, hispanic and I think one asian girl. 20's to 40's around. No fat girls. Some sillicone in there. More 6's and 7's. With maybe an 8 and 9.
