Back at the Dolphin
I found myself in the area, and decided to stop by. I haven’t been here in close to a year. I pulled in on a recent Friday night around 10pm. There was a 10 dollar cover. It used to be no cover on the weekdays, and a 10 dollar cover on Fridays and Saturdays. I’m not sure if that’s how it still is.
I walked in, and the layout of the club hasn’t changed. To your right when you walk in are lottery machines, a pool table and the second stage. To the left of you is the bar. Right in front of you is the main stage which is very long. Towards the back of the club is the VIP areas for the dances, the restrooms, and the outdoor patio.
Music was a mix of rap, R&B and rock. It wasn’t all just one genre. The DJ was very loud and mouthy, but he was kind of funny on the mic with some of his jokes. As far as seating, there was some seats at the bar, tables and couches around the club. I felt there is adequate seating. Drinks were normal strip club prices, I got a rum n coke for 7 bucks.
