First visit to HB in many years.

So I haven't been to HB in quite a few years, but was working down the street the other night and had an hour to kill. Saw from posts here and on the site that it was now open earlier, and at no cover, figured I'd take a chance. FWIW, it looks like you can get a pass texted to you by visiting their website....but I didn't need to as it was early. YMMV, but worth a shot I guess. Looks like cover is $15 otherwise.

Got there around 5PM, which is just a bit after it opens. When I got there, I had to show ID and got a wristband, but did not pay a cover. Paid a tip to the chick who put the wristband on me (2$) and she seemed happy. Got waved in and sat a few rows off the stage. At that time I saw about 6 girls, 1 Black mix, 1 latina, and 4 white girls. All of them seemed good looking enough and only one had bolt ons. Didn't get a good look at her, as she was pretty much upstairs the whole time. Sat and had a $1.50 beer, but was told $2 as they don't make change. I would have rounded up anyway, but I don't like the assumption. If you felt like being cheap, order 2 and it will come out to $3. I asked about a Jack and coke and was told $8, which I passed on and stuck with beers.

Club really hasn't changed except adding more TVs around the room (saw the Bears game on that night....they won!), and 5 or 6 slot machines in the nearest corner from where you enter. Small high level tables with 3 or 4 stools around most of the floor, candles on each table. There is a raised section in back of the room that looks more like regular tables and chairs, but I didn't go there and it seemed that's where the girls hung out. Raised DJ booth to the right saw a lot of foot traffic as the girls walked back and forth. VIP area is upstairs, and the bar is generic, with a bartender that doubles as the waitress. If you need your drink quick, go up and get it at the bar. No dude in the bathroom, but maybe that kicks in on the weekend or after 10. Bathroom was clean enough, but I wouldn't say 'nice'. Only 1 bouncer I could see besides the doorman, and he stood by the stairs going up...and I think I could have taken him.
