Saturday Night

I stopped into Christies on a recent Saturday night. I arrived around 9:00pm. Plenty of parking available on a well lit lot right off of a busy thoroughfare. I felt safe. Bouncer at the door but no ID check or scan. $12 cover charge.

As has been repeated ad nauseam on this site, it’s still one of the nicer looking clubs in town. As such, there were lots of couples in the house on a Saturday night. It was generally pretty busy too, there were scattered seats/tables available throughout though as it’s a fairly large club, I really had no problem finding a spot to sit.

Plenty of waitstaff on hand. It was $6 for a bottle of beer, I gave the waitress a $10 and she said she would return with my change, she never did. I spent a couple hundred dollars on the night but it still irks me that the waitress decided to pocket a couple extra dollars as her “tip”, odd how we are wired isn’t it?
