Having been to clubs in NY/NE, FL and a few other places, I thought why not try a club in SLC while here. It was a short walk and had nothing else to do. Well, this ain't Providence or Tampa...not even close.

Walking distance of the south side of downtown SLC, Trails didn't seem to have much parking. The lot was full but not because of club visitors. I think due to another building across the lot. Enter and pay $10. No security check.

Walk into the main room which is kind of partitioned into 2 sections, each with a stage. The one to the left was open and had the bar so I went in. Two TVs above the bar had the local Jazz game on the screen. Main stage was decent size with a poll and seating around it. Got a beer for $8 and sat down. Saw maybe 10 girls on stage during my visit and tipped most of them at least several ones. Other guys (maybe another 10 of those) were tipping as well. Girls had pasties. A sign warned to keep your distance (3 ft) and the obligatory warnings about photos etc.

Girls were actually quite pretty...mostly white, 1 black. I had wished it were a "normal" strip club. After one particularly pretty blonde was getting off stage, I explained my first time in SLC and asked what the deal was there. Short answer....no lap dances, no contact. And apparently no talking either as no girls during my time there spent any time with any customer (except one fat dude who must be a regular and inserted himself into conversation with the aforementioned blonde and one other girl).

So I enjoyed the titty show, such as it was, and left. I might check out one other club this weekend. Based on reading some other reviews here, I don't expect much. But why not....just makes me appreciate home more.
