A sober visit to Wax
I stopped in at Wax about 7:30PM. The parking lot guy told me that parking was free because they didn't serve alcohol but he'd keep an eye on my car anyway. He was very friendly. Went in and had my ID checked and a quick pat down. There's no cover until 8PM so I haven't spent anything so far. I went in and sat at the main bar that is in front of you when you go in. the club is basically one big room with 2 small stages in front of the bar and 2 larger ones in the middle. To the left are a couple of pool tables. I got a bottle of water for $4 from the bartender.
I saw about a dozen girls working. No one was on stage and the atmosphere was sort of subdued compared to my other visits here. I got a few dances at the bar from Jasmine, good grind and light stick shifting. Dances are $5. I moved to a table in the back of the room and got dances from a few more girls that were good. Then I met Camille. Her dances were great, she knew how to grind and was very handsy. By the time we were done I was a happy camper and I gave her a nice tip for her efforts.
The impression I got from talking to the dancers and the bartender is that they are on pins and needles waiting to see if they get their liquor license back. I hope they do. Wax is a fun place and I'd hate to see it go away.
