I’m afraid I was booted. Bartender was bizarre. There were very drunk guys at the bar, and I was just trying to have brunch at the bar. Wasn’t yet noon. I speak Spanish. The guys were friendly, and I understood them well. Learned they had been at the bartenders house all night previously, according to them. I reported what they were saying to the bartender, who clearly knew little or no Spanish. These guys were really blasted and claiming a lot of activities with her the previous night.
I reported what they said to her, just so she’d know. She said I was ruining the morning with all her friends and regulars. Threatened to all the police immediately and kicked me out.
Oh well. I really liked the place. Had gone a number times. I knew a couple of the bartenders. One texted me to come back and identified the only days the angry one worked. Tried once. The angry one was there. She chases me out, stood arms folded outside the door, I left.
