First visit to a club in NEPA

I had a trip to Wilkes-Barre with a Saturday night stayover so I decided to see what strip clubs in northeast PA are like. Dream Girls was very close to my hotel so that’s where I went this Saturday evening at about 8 pm. The club is on a major (for this town) street but there was little traffic. At the time I entered there were only a few cars in a good sized parking lot.

On entry at just before 8:00 I was charged $10 cover. They checked my id and let me in. When I left at about 10:30 I saw the bouncers doing a light frisk on guys coming in at that time. I have no idea whether they were frisking everyone or if these guys just got lucky in that way. The main room is rather large. There were quite a few cocktail tables scattered about, but they weren’t crowded. There was one large stage with three poles slightly off center in the room. The bar was on the far side of the room, and the restrooms were immediately to the left on entry to the main room (no troll).

There were only a few patrons and dancers at this hour and the whole atmosphere was just flat. I sat at one of the tables but got no service so I made my way to the bar and got a $6 Coke. I thought I saw a waitress but she clearly had no interest in serving me.
