Very expensive, but potential high mileage/quality in a safe, convenient place..
For those not familiar with the DMV area (particularly Northern Virginia), the area tends to be a bit of a "strip club desert" in terms of quality/value - especially compared to most other parts of the US etc. There's just not that many options in Northern Virginia itself, apart from Papermoon and CCR (Crystal City Restaurant) - apart from that, you need to start looking into clubs in DC, MD, or WVA - all of which also have their pluses and minuses.
I won't go on my rant as to all of the reasons why I don't like CCR here, but I will write up why Papermoon still remains one of my "go to" clubs (or, in other words, one of the "least-worst" clubs in the area - esp. when factoring in cost).
First, the down sides. PM is extremely expensive, especially during night/peak hours, there's no way to sugar coat it. However, its costs are fairly comparable with the clubs in DC itself. There is a cover charge at all hours - it's higher in the evenings/on peak days (around $20), relatively small during day shift (under $10). A 30-min VIP with a bottle in a semi-private area runs $400, but that is full contact. There are less expensive and more expensive dances available. Semi-private is kind of a relative term, by the way. There's a section with little cubicle kind of benches, then a larger VIP with more comfortable couches, but there's like 4 of them in a curtained off area, 2 of them each face eachother. So if you're lucky, you may get that entire area to yourself - if you're not lucky, you share that area with up to 3 other couples. For the most private experience, you need to get into the more expensive VIPs which start at about $700-$800 for 30 mins, where you do get a fully private small room near the front of the club.
