A Bartender With the Personality of a Jello Block

Walked into Obsessions on a Sunday just after midnight. Listing said it was open until 2am but I wondered if that was really the case. Well, it was open, but barely. The place is just off Rt 31 about 10-15 min drive north of Clinton. It looks like a house with some neon light trimming. Parking lot wraps around the back, where the entrance is. Weren't a lot of cars in the lot so either it was going to be slim pickens or I'd have the girls all to myself. It was the former.

Walk in, no cover. A guy greeted me who was a regular that I mistook as a bouncer. The customers were friendlier than the staff on this night. There's an L-shaped bar with a two-pole stage inside it (no one was on it when I entered). Pool tables over to the left. Big-screen TV and couches over the right where the LD area is. It's definitely a locals bar.

I asked where the bartender was because there was a white girl (looked Italian-American) behind the bar in a barely there bikini-thong who had to have been the laziest, most disinterested employee I have ever seen. I thought she was a dancer (and she is), but on this night, she was keeping bar, or I guess the bar was keeping her. She was glued to her phone and couldn't even sit up or stand right (she wasn't drunk, just lazy or tired I guess). The regulars were teasing her about her attitude and she just ignored them. I finally got a beer out of her for $6. Since I didn't see any other dancers, I asked if she was going to dance. She shook her head despondently but said there was another girl upstairs who would come down.
