Incrementally Better

Because of its proximity to my work, I'm returning here a bit more often, though mostly it's just to pass the time, with the occasional lap dance partner found.

The details: large parking lot, located across the street from the getting-more-ghetto-by-the-day Tempe Mills Mall. Pro tip: if you're trying to get to the club while driving west on Baseline Road, instead of driving past the club and having to make a U-turn at the 10 Freeway on-ramp, use the small left turn lane going into the Molino's Hotel next door. There is a small access drive that allows you into the CC parking lot. You're welcome.

I can't tell you the cover charge because I have a VIP card so I never pay or get my ID scanned, I just write my name down on the VIP list. Tip the cashier a buck. A large tray of mints are available to your left of you feel the need to use one before your visit. Go through the beveled glass double doors and enter the club proper. DJ booth and bar immediately to the left, large circular stage with a single pole dominates the very large, spacious main floor. Drinks are $5 (I get a Coke), but pay attention. I handed the waitress a $10 bill last time, she said she didn't have any change and would return. 10 minutes later, she still hadn't made an effort to do so, so when she walked past my table, I flagged her down to remind her I still needed my change. "Oh, I thought you said I could keep the change!" Uh-huh.
