Updates since the ownership change at the end of last year

I’ve reviewed PHC Baltimore five times since March of 2019, but my last review was 18 months ago, so it’s time for an update. The layout and a lot of the basics haven’t changed. The big news in the last year was that the club was sold around the end of 2022 to the owners of the PHC Tampa, which has the rep of a good, no extras club. I’d fallen into a pretty good rhythm here and was wondering about potential changes. Every employee and dancer had to reinterview to keep their jobs. Most everyone stayed. Word is that the new owners have plans to make more use of the club space, which now mostly only uses the first floor, with the second floor pretty much only being used for VIP rooms and not using the second bar and stage up there. Rumor was that they were going to put more space on the third floor and maybe a roof deck. No construction yet and the club rarely is crowded enough on weekend nights to justify two floors, let alone three. But hey, if they want to invest in improving the club, I’m all for it as long as they don’t pass the costs through to customers for their risky business decisions (fat chance).

Layout is the same. Tip walk is the same. Great news is that dancer quality is the same. The average PHC shift is the hottest in Baltimore and I’d put it up against clubs in other strong SC cities. Night shift is better than day shift, but you’ll still see some strong 7-9’s on day shift, though usually less dancers total. Even if there’s a girl you don’t find attractive they always have something that you can tell is appealing to other mongers.
