Sometimes crowded isn't better
Thought a return trip to Nikkis's was in order now that the road (#2) was open again. Pulled into the parking lot (large and unpaved) around 9 on Saturday evening and there were very few spots open. I took this as a good sign. Several customers (mostly smoking) and a few dancers milling around in front of the club.
Walked into the bar and it was reasonably full and took a seat (uncomfortable wood chairs) off to the side of the stage. The stage is small and there are several tables and a few high tops. I usually try to sit at the bar, but it was quite crowded there this night. Sat there for about ten minutes before a waitress made here way over. I ordered a domestic beer and it was $8 plus $2 tip. Very friendly server. been there for a while. When the place is busy, they don't seem to have enough help.
There appeared to be about 15-20 dancers milling about, but I was not impressed with the lineup. Several came over to make their sales pitch, but I was hoping to find something different. The dances here are $20, and my past experience is that most of the girls are pretty honest on count. Tonight wasn't good and I had drive still to Toronto, so until next time. Cheers!
