Good money for value for North of Boston

This place is very different from across the street, the Cabaret Lounge. It's behind a gas station, which feels very dodgy... but it isn't. I went in one two Thursdays ago and it was super hot. I had come from Kitten's Gentlemen's Club (aka the Litter Box) because that was open earlier, and a complete waste of money. I thought at first I would go to Cabaret Lounge, which always feels like a let down and instead thought I would take a chance on the DB Golden Banana (no idea why the "DB" part btw, and I am a local!). For those from out of town, Route 1 sucks a lot and it can only be reached on one side so approach with a GPS and with care because if you miss it, you have to do a big, crazy loop to get back here. Seriously, don't make the mistake of trying to figure it out without a GPS.

Inside, there's a metal detector and a cover charge ($20). Very nice and professional at the front, and dim inside. There's a men's room to the right, that sort of open but clean. In fact, later at night (I was there a long time), there was an attendant. I normally hate that, and I am sure there's a reason for it that has nothing to do with "my convenience," like watching for hanky panky or something, but I always find it annoying that someone is judging me on the quality of hand washing or something.

The women were slow to come out, but when they did they were a cut above the general quality of the area, certainly better than the Litter Box or Cabaret Lounge. Ten's is a little different, but that's further North still. Stage dances were what you expect, sets of three, with a few mongers going up to the rail with their sweaty singles. I did that a bit too with one well put together dancer who was a good dancer and had a great smile. I am a sucker for a smiler and a pretty face. Sue me.
