Typical Thursday at the Slipper

Arrived at 3pm or so. No cover until 7. Two doors to get in, hard right to a long and narrow room. Bar surrounds a small stage (maybe 5’x5’), with a pole and a staircase leading to the locker room. About 18 bar stools around the bar, you’ve gotta chuck your tips at the stage. 5 booths across from the bar with bolted down, awkward tables you’re guaranteed to slam your knees into, LD area at the far end with two banquettes and a hitching post between them. VIP room upstairs with a bar, a stage and several more awkwardly constructed booths that make extras really challenging.

LDs are $30 per song; Champagne is $300 to the house per 30 mins (!!!), and then whatever the girl charges on top of that (usually another $300). Not a guarantee of extras. Drinks are $10-12 each for a beer, but then when you buy a girl a drink, it's $30 to the house. Shit adds up REAL quick in this club. Rarely worth it.

Mostly sat and chatted with Serenity, the smoking hot Asian bartender who occasionally dances. I **think** we were flirting, tho she's a hard read so it's hard to tell. Girls were mostly MIA, with the occasional stage appearance.
