Parrot continues it's slow decline.
I come to El Paso for work once a year and try to make it to the Parrot when I'm in town. First time I was here was probably 10 years ago and that time was amazing. Every year has been slightly worse and after this year I'm thinking I'm done. Fifteen dollar cover and once in, there is a bar and a fairly long stage. Two dancers were sitting at the bar and talking to patrons. These guys never bought a dance and the dancers never left their side. Great businesswomen. Eventually a dancer stopped by my table (Barbara?) and we went to the lap dance area which is in an elevated area behind the stage. Admission is $25, which is more than I paid last time. Dances were hands on up top but nothing more. Two dances and I was done. Went back to my table and started chatting with Isabella. Nice girl, but decided to skip the VIP. Just feeling like any money I spent wasn't going to be worth it. Parrot is definitely not like the old days that I remember.
