Dancer drinks are a scam
Went in on a weekday afternoon. No cover charge. To my right were a handful of tables and the bar. To the left, some more seating, the stage, and a VIP section.
Bartender was cute and friendly. Paid maybe $6 for a beer. Scoped out the dancers. The best looking one was doing a lap dance in a semi private area but there was no shortage of girls working. Fairly impressive lineup (quantity and quality) for a day shift. One girl with a thick accent (maybe Latina) came right up to me at the bar, grabbed my junk over my shorts, and asked me to take her to VIP. I know better than to take the first aggressive girl before building a rapport.
I had a few conversations with some of the dancers but I kept being interrupted by an aggressive manager who assisted on me buying the girls a “drink”. See you can’t just go up to the bar and buy two drinks for yourself and the dancer. The management sells “dancer drinks” which range between like $20 and $80 and you’re really just buying time on the floor with the girl. If you don’t buy that or a dance they’re encouraged to go talk to someone else.
