Never thought I'd say this, but The Raven might as well be the nearby Sugar N Spice.

Of course the upgraded decor is better. And, yes, the girls are a step better. But where it counts - what a dancer might do - I no longer can give the edge to Raven.

The demise of the Raven in my estimation derives from two things. The first was the sheer curtains (not) covering the couch rooms when the bar relaunched earlier this year. The second is the more recent installation of cameras covering those same rooms. The impact of this second change was so important that one longtime dancer made a point to announce the bad news to me the moment she saw me.
