I visited this club on Friday...
I visited this club on Friday night before the Xmas holiday weekend. Truly a "Waiting for Godot" experience--once inside this large venue I never came within 30 feet of another human being except when I stood below a dancer on the stage. Even then, there was a strong feeling of physical and emotional distance between me and the listless performer. I could just make out two other patrons: an elderly man, and a middle-aged man who staggered up to the stage holding a bottle of whiskey. At the stage I tipped the dancers with fivers and even 10s, but after their routines every dancer disappeared backstage and never set foot among the pathetic customers. Ironically, a neon sign above the main stage reads "SIN." Sigh...that's what I wanted for Xmas but never got. I'll be back when I want to sit alone below that sign, in limbo and feeling sorry for myself. Wonder how this place stays in business if every night is like this.
