Centerfold Lounge still rocking the D

After a long hiatus I decided to visit this classic, rock topless place to see if it had changed in any way since the late 80’s. Not surprisingly it hadn’t lol. With exception of the newer big screen TV’s nothing much has changed. This building is long overdue for major renovations but we know that will never happen. This place would probably classify as a topless dive bar to most, and I would tend agree, but it is a good alternative to the other high price, high pressure techno clubs in the area. I didn’t want to spend a lot $$$ and was just looking to get some basic LD’s with out dealing with the hard pressure sell for extras.

Visited on Thursday around 6pm and stayed until 8:30pm, paid a $2 parking fee (no valet). The parking area was partially fenced and had building security lights. Felt somewhat safe. No cover charge, later on after 8pm I believe there is. At the time there were about 8 dancers working and rotating on stage and maybe 6 customers. Slow for a Thursday I was told. I sat at the bar and ordered an $8 NA beer and scoped out the area and the talent. Most girls were making the rounds approaching customers and were friendly. Mostly Caucasian girls with a few AA’s in their mid-late 20’s. All types of body types and sizes. There was one older gal dancing who looked pretty good. The girls here are not FC or LS caliber but they are real- not a fake boob in the place! Most of the girls I would rate as average in the 4-6 range with a few 7-8’s . No 9-10’s at the time. There was one hot petite blonde with a nice set of naturals, a solid 8. I was targeting her however she was busy with her regular.

My first encounter was with a cute, brunette petite spinner with a nice set of natural 34B’s, a solid 7. Had good convo and then we did some LD’s up in the open area loft right behind the DJ. There were 3 old cushioned love seats up there, one of which I got swallowed up in. The fee per dance was $5 before 8pm and $10 after. The LD’s were $20 each. Ended up doing 5 dances with this gal as she was very sensual and open to touching, light petting, and some grinding- I was digging it. However the second gal, athletic type not so much, only did 3 dances with her. Being a Detroit club no extras were offered or discussed in either case. Total spent with drinks and tips just under $250.

Overall, if you are into rock music, dive bars, and basic topless LD’s at a good value this place is a great option. Nice friendly people, will definitely visit again!
