Dead on a Saturday night

I found myself further south in the CA Central Valley than ever before, so I decided to push a little further to check out the clubs in Bakersfield for the first time. I didn't have particularly high hopes, but the explorer and collector in me wanted to see what was there. I planned to visit two clubs, Teaser Pleaser and Exotic Kitty. Teaser Pleaser seemed like the most likely to disappoint based on reviews so I stopped in there first. Upon seeing the door girl, a smoking hot blond sporting a red bikini, my hopes rose, only to be dashed moments later when I walked through the curtain to a very small and very empty club. The stage is directly to your left as you enter with chairs and a ledge for your drink wrapping around it. A few chairs and tables were placed a bit further from the stage, and a couple of booths lined the walls opposite it. Toward the back of the club I could see the private dance area where occasionally a woman's head or hands would appear.

After a while a dancer finally took the stage. I watched as 3 or 4 dancers rotated through their sets. Vixen was the second dancer on stage. She stopped by after her set to see if I wanted a dance. I declined, hoping to see something more to my liking, but by the time the 4th dancer came off the stage I was ready to cut my losses and head out, but not before scoping out the dance area. When Vixen popped out of the back and took a seat at one one the booths I approached her for a dance and we headed back to what turned out to me a cramped little bench. Vixen quoted me $60 for topless, which didn't align with the prices posted on the marquee ($20 bikini, $40 topless, $50 ?, $180/hr) but I went for it anyway. The dance was... ok. Vixen was chatty, not in a sexy way, but in a everyday conversation kind of way. She worked well with the space that was available but the dimensions of the dance booths are extremely limiting. It was far from the worst lap dance that I've received but definitely not in the top 50%. I said thanks and goodbye and headed out in hoped of greener pastures at Exotic Kitty.
