Goldrush was a bit further from my downtown hotel than either Diamond or Vivide, with the ride-share cost closer to $20 than $15. There was a pat down on the way in and a $10 cover. I arrived around 8:30pm on a Thursday, which was clearly between shifts as there were very few people, patrons or dancers, present.

The club is pleasant inside, with a big stage, a couple of bars, and a back area with pool tables. There's a raised section with booths that was roped off, perhaps VIP seating of some kind. There are other booths along the room with the stage, and a scattering of low tables, along with stools at both bars. Instead of the giant wall-sized TVs from Vivide and Diamond, there were more normally big TVs hanging in various places around the club, including behind the bars.

I went partly with the intention to get some food and watch a basketball game, and expected the relatively deserted status. The food (a quesadilla and plate of fresh veggies) was decent bar food and not expensive. The bartender gave me two tiny glasses of Coke that didn't show up on my bill, so maybe she comped it with the food. Later a small bottle of water was $7 and a shot+juice chaser for a dancer was $12. My bar seat was a good place to watch the game, with an occasional glance around at the stage when a dancer was there.
