Avoid this tourist trap
I was in the DT Seattle area for a dinner gathering so afterwards I decided to check out the DV across the Pike Place market since it's been years since I've been there. A lot of people have been avoiding downtown so there hasn't been many reviews so I wanted to see for myself how it is.
Once going through the doors you have to walk up a long stairway to the club which is on the second floor where the doorman will greet you with the new cover price of $35. Ouch! This is the highest cover in the area. When you go inside you see the first main stage area to the right and they have about 30 seats around the stage and booths on the back walls. It's pretty much the same layout as it was before. To the left of the main stage is another doorway which goes into the larger VIP dance area where they have high back chairs similar to other clubs and private booth/rooms with curtains along the back wall. There is another stage on the other side of the wall of the main stage. There used to be shower dances and other promotional stage dances on the second stage back in the day when they would have 20-30 dancers working but now only the main stage was open with only about 8-10 dancers and about the same number of customers. Before I took my seat a slender blonde started chatting and then asked if I wanted a dance. After asking how much she revealed her dance price at $50/dance. I passed and grabbed a seat and drink. I only had one drink so I am not sure if it's bottomless. A few other girls tried to chat me up to ask for a dance but when I asked about prices they were all $50/dance. One girl offered a dance at $60! And I was pretty sure it was not going to be a Lake City daytime dance. After watching the rotation there was only a couple of dancers I would normally be interested in but at $50/song I was going to call it early. When I was almost ready to leave one of the better looking girls Dream, a curvy blonde with natural top came by and I figured I'm not coming back so I tried a couple dances with her just to make sure- 2/$100. They were nice normal dances with bump and grind and touch feely stuff but nothing out of the ordinary. She tried to sell the vip room but at crazy high rates that started at something like $500/15mins so I just tuned that out and finished up.
So there you have it. I can confirm what other reviews have talked about. It is a full on tourist trap now and they don't even have a lot of dancers or customers on their busiest night. Avoid unless you have cash to burn.
