Does not meet the hype, disappointing, but overall better than Synn
My friend and I were in town for a poker tournament and long story short, based on reviews and people we talked to, City of Industry is really the best bang for the buck with everything else ranging from just plain terrible to a crap shoot with a high house edge in the immediate metro area.
The club is closer to the highway than Synn (which is literally two blocks down the street) and also in a strip mall next to a stripper's clothing store. Rhino will give you $10 off admission if you bring in a competitor's card. I had plenty from Synn which they happily accepted.
Entrance is on the corner of the main room with one hexagonal-ish stage on the opposite side, sort of in the middle of the room. The stage has a large bean bag like ottoman in the middle. The club itself reminds me of a library, with large portraits of pretty woman (they should use this for their best dancers). It's very smokey and dark in here. Behind the stage is the very small bar (average size for all the strip clubs we visited in LA). To the right of the bar is the bathrooms and to the left is the DJ and the place where you buy lapdances. To the right of that is the standard LDA. Opposite of the LDA is an area where dancers sort of hang out and a fireplace. VIP dances were behind the bar, basically walking to the adult clothing store. The set up is like Landing Strip for the VIP, i.e. curtained rooms with a couch.
