February Friday late afternoon disappointment

I had a very strange experience here at the end of February. Pretty sad, actually. I've had great times here, and I hope to again.

I had about 4 hours to spend on a Friday afternoon. I saw that Dolls was opening at 4, which was wonderful as I had expected to have to wait until 6. I went to Fantasy, which was a very nice but not particularly memorable, then went to Dolls, arriving just before 6. No cover.

Not much was going on. No one was dancing. There were maybe 3 customers at the bar and 4 dancers hanging out. Got myself a beer ($10?) and one of the dancers started chatting me up. Young, blonde, cute spinner. Got me real interested. Then I noticed that she was pretty wasted. Then I noticed the braces. Then she started sneezing. I've never had my interest go from about 8 to about -2 so fast.
