Felt more hyped than it should be

I pulled up into the parking lot around 11pm. I walked up to the front door and saw a few random people sitting on the curb and two girls looking over at me. The bouncer at the front door was friendly and opened the door/greeted me into the lobby. I walked up to the counter where the girl asked me for the $12 cover charge. There was no extra security or pat down so I just went right on into the club.

The first thing I noticed was that there's only a single stage. I looked around for a table but didn't find anything close to the entrance so had to walk all the way towards the back close to the VIP area. I sat down and thought I'd get a waitress over within a minute since I saw some of them chatting with male staff. But I waited for close to 10 minutes and didn't get any attention. Finally, I just got annoyed and walked up to the bar myself on the opposite side of the club from where I was sitting. The bartender was friendly enough and she gave me a decent pour on a Tito's vodka soda.

When I got back to my table, I had a few dancers walk up to me trying to sit on my lap. The first few girls that approached me weren't my type but there was a good variety. I ended up getting my first dance from a white girl that sounded like she was from Europe.
