A little good, a little bad, a lot of the same

Location:

Right at the Smithton exit off the interstate, behind the big Flying J. Easy enough to get to, but just far away from where I live. For me the commute gets harder and harder the older and older I get.

Parking / Valet:

All self parking. One of the more disappointing aspects of this visit. There is now a metal gate on the “north” side of the lot. It was closed so only the “south” entry/exit lane could be used. Lot was surprisingly very full (yet the club was somehow relatively empty when I arrived). Normally I like to pull thru the parking space for an easy exit. But with the new gate I was concerned about getting parked in. The parking lines haven’t been visible in years but this particular night it was a real circus with a lot of bad parking going on. Also of note, when I initially arrived there was a guy just loitering there in his vehicle. His car was setup that he kind of maybe looked like a security guard, but he didn’t seem to be affiliated with the club afaik. Sketchy.
