Not like the old days

Buck's Trophy Club is a small, mid-tier club that used to be called Scarlett's, then Buck's Rack City. And maybe something else. But way back in the Scarlett's days it was probably my favorite Toledo area strip club; in all honesty, it was actually kind of a dive, but it was friendly and homey, and there were usually a lot of dancers. The club has been renovated and completely changed on the inside. It looks newer and shinier, but has lost some of its old charm. As for the parking lot, there's no valet, and the lot isn't fenced in on the street side, but there are cameras, and I've never felt any worry about my safety or about theft when visiting.

Anyway, I arrived at BTC just after 6:00 PM on a Thursday after a long absence, noting that there weren't many cars in the lot. My last time there had been a very lackluster, virtually girl-free visit way back in November, so I guessed I might be in for the same situation this evening. I hate when I'm right.

On my last trip to the club, I was asked for my ID and then had to pass through a metal detector. This time they required neither, so I simply forked over $10 cover and $2 coat check to the attractive but bored-looking brunette door girl. Too bad she wasn't dancing.
