Trending in Wrong Direction

I stopped into HL this past Wednesday, mid afternoon. The parking lot was about half full, which is less than usual for a mid week Wednesday afternoon, keep in mind that a lot of those cars are from dancers too. No cover charge, no ID scan, no one wanting to walk me to my seat.

Not nearly the crowd they would normally get here for a mid week afternoon in early March (peak tourist season in Arizona). Plenty of seating was available, although almost all of the wall seats were taken up by Cuban dancers. Does Cuba have any women left? Anyways, $5.50 for a couple of Bud Light drafts (they have 2 for 1 wine, well & draft in the afternoons) from an attractive waitress. The waitstaff here is awesome by the way.

Lots and lots of dancers were working, easily 30+, there were far more dancers there than there were customers. Spring Training does bring in the girls. Unfortunately, most were not all that attractive. On the 1-10 scale, I’d say they ranged from 5-8, but with most of them sitting around the 5-6 range. Patience is the key. Most of the girls will take a “No, thank you” gracefully, some will get a bit pissy though, especially when there are so many girls and a limited number of customers, so beware.
