No luck

After speaking to a few TUSCL members regarding mongering near Akron/Canton, I settled on two clubs to visit: Ole Glory Daze and Gatsby’s North. I’ll submit on Gatsby’s as well.

If you are into hole-in-the-wall establishments (as I am) look no further! OGD is a smallish bar on a side street off the main drag. From the outside it looked very busy, that as I pulled in I noticed the parking lot was pretty small. I pulled up at 9:15, parked along the building and made my way under the tarp that is covering the entrance. After pulling a little harder on the door (the bottom drags on the ground) I made my way inside. Immediately to your right is a “bathroom”, which is basically a room that doesn’t lock with a urinal. Hell, I’ve seen worse (Henry the 8th in Inkster, MI). To the left is a claw machine, which seemed out of place. I was not greeted by anyone nor discussed any kind of entry fee, so I’m unsure if that is a thing. The bar was decently busy of patrons. When you walk into the bar area, the bar is to the right, with some high top tables to the left. In the back was a pool table and some other high top tables surrounding it. I didn’t see anyone partaking, however.
