Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon recently. As detailed in thousands of reviews, same pink roof, same elongated bar/stage, same $10 cover fee for 2 bottled waters and byob, and for most of the last decade-plus largely same entertainment and entertainers. Same peculiar characteristic odor rife through the establishment that seeps deep into your clothes and collective conscience. An interesting study in longevity in this genre, to say the least.

About 8 dancers on that Sunday's schedule, some rotating on the stage for two songs, some huddled into conversations with each other or one of the half a dozen or so patrons. Folks splitting off and moving to the backrooms every now and then for the $30/song private dances. After settling in a bit, the decision was made to order an ageless Brazilian hotpepper for a few songs. The spice lasted for about 3 songs, and the dish ended up satisfying as predictably as always.
