The United Nations of Stripping

Found myself in the city with time to kill. I had never tried a NYC club before even though I used to work here, so it was time to check one out. Flashdancers was pretty close and the reviews were way better than the dismal Satin Dolls club so this is what I chose. I entered the club and was quickly greeted by a friendly gentleman who asked me to check my coat. Coat check was $3. There is no cover between noon and 5pm here. The entrance way is pretty much the club's bar, where there is a very tiny stage (more like a lily pad) with a pole where a very attractive topless slender european dancer with perfect breasts was stepping side to side (not big enough to actually dance) I asked about getting singles and was directed to the cashier at the end of the bar. Changed a twenty for one's with no charge. Turns out I wouldn't really need the singles.

From this area, you step into an entry way for the main room, where there is an awkwardly placed tiny stage with poles placed on either side of a giant column that divides the stage. Makes it hard to see the dancer from some angles. The room is pretty cramped with lots of chairs matched with tables and then a series of couches lining the walls. Most of the dancers are sitting in chairs on one side of the stage that lines the wall separating this room from the bar. There are no seats at the edge of the stage and it appears that there is no tipping the one dancer who is on the stage. While there was no cover, a cocktrail waitress came and told me there is a drink minimum, but it's a two for one drink special (noon to 5p), so I got two bud lights for $13. The waitress was friendly and welcoming and I asked her about the stage tipping situation - she said you don't really tip the stage dancers. Here, it's all about the lap dances and VIP rooms, no tip parade.

I like variety with dancers and Flashdancers is the United Nations of strip clubs. I met white and brown girls from Italy, Columbia, Finland, Kazakhstan, Cuba, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic. All mostly 8-10s, some were 5s. Hour glass figures, natural breasts, a few enhanced, fit asses. In a time of rising LD costs, $20 per dance seems like a steal, especially in expensive NYC. There is no private area for the $20 LDs though - they happen in this cramped room on the couches lining the walls. I didn't mind as I could check out girls next to me doing their thing while I was getting mine. The dances are two-way touch, but no touching breasts/kitty - boundaries varied with the girls - some didn't let me touch their asses, some did.
