Not crazy good but still a fun time

Polekatz itself hasn't changed much over the last few years. Located in an industrial area, it's not much to look at on the outside but the inside is pretty nice, clean and modern. The main floor is nice and spacious with hightop chairs/tables. A small flight of stairs leads up to a higher smaller VIP level with much more comfortable seats/tables. The main stage has poles at both ends with a girl dancing at each end during busy times while the VIP stage also has a pole but only 1 dancing up on that stage. The lighting for the stage dances is pretty good while the not too talkative DJ plays a good mix of rock and dance music.

Pretty much all the people who work here are friendly and welcoming, from the bouncers and coat check girl to the waitresses and the dancers. Since it was late on a Saturday night, it was busy and probably close to 50ish dancers working with a good diverse of mix of different ethnicities and body types. Mostly white and Latina dancers with maybe a couple African-American and Asian dancers ranging from thin to thick worked the main floor. I ended up in the VIP area this night as I was going for more of a laid-back evening but if you're looking for more of the party atmosphere and girls to approach you, stick with the main floor as girls don't generally approach for dances in the VIP level unless they know you or you invite them. All the waitresses are friendly with most of them being pretty attractive in their own right and they dress a little sexier in the VIP level but the main floor waitresses aren't bad either. Honestly I must say the dancer hotness level has gone down last few months due to some turnover but conversely the waitresses seem to be getting hotter which is kind of ironic. I did spring for a few dances from Shea who is a thinner, fit Latina and she did a pretty nice job. No touching of the boobs is allowed but she gave a good grind and was flirty.

As far as costs, standard cover charge is $10 but you can get a free pass texted to you if you visit their website. Free street parking is available a block down the street otherwise valet parking is available for $5. Drinks weren't too bad, $8 for each Heineken and like $10 or $11 for Jameson shots in the VIP level. Topless dances on the main floor are $20 and $30 fully nude, while all dances in the VIP level are $30 regardless if topless or fully nude. Some girls will only do topless for $30 so I'd recommend asking if they are one of those girls so you get the most bang for your buck.
