More like Imperfect Sixes

My plane arrived at San Antonio airport, I picked up a car, and I decided no better time to start checking out the cultural attractions of the area. P10 was very convenient to the airport with less than a 10 minute drive. The building is marked by a large sign, with plenty of parking, in a suburban shopping area.

Walked in (no security check) and paid an $8 cover to a very cute young woman with a pretty smile and great personality. She made a great first impression and got me optimistic, but that euphoria faded quickly. This club is set up into a few rooms, with a small bar on the left, a bigger bar in the middle, and three stages. Only one stage was being used on this afternoon. The restroom had a sharply-dressed attendant, which I like as the floor was clean and the faucets worked. Cigarette vending machine was near the door to the restroom - I haven't seen one of those outside of a VFW since the 80s. Fortunately, I didn't think the place was too smokey. There were a few scattered TVs. I took a seat at a white table clothed, covered with glass, table near the main stage.

The waitresses were friendly and very attentive. Turns out it was $2 Tuesday, so I got a draft beer and waited for my eyes to adjust.
