Fannie's Better than Expected

I have not been to Fannie's in 10 years or so and was pleasantly surprised overall. The fact that it is open on Sunday is a big plus as there are few places around Atlanta open. The place has a nice laid back vibe where you can actually go to the stage and tip the girl unlike most of the botty shaking club. There was good mix of black, white, and latin dancers (no Cubans that I saw) and everyone was very friendly. Dancers ranged from 6-9 and dances were very hands on with plenty of roaming allowed.

The big negative is that dance prices are $15 each but given they were playing full length songs and the level of the dance it was a fair deal I felt like. I don't think this is really an extras club, at least on the floor. I asked one girl about the VIP out of curiosity and she said it would 320 as the club charges 120 for the room. Not sure if this is the norm or she was being straight up but there are definitely better/cheaper places for VIP if that is the case. Still, overall despite the inflated prices, I would return when looking for a place to just chill and have a few good dances though not the place if you are looking for a bargain in the VIP it doesn't appear.
