As with much in life, some +'s, some -'s, but mainly +'s...

For those not familiar with the DC/DMV SC scene- wanted to provide an update on PM-Springfield- which is one of the clubs in my regular "rotation" in that area.

First - the logistics. It's located in Springfield, VA in a fairly-safe area. Free parking is provided. A gas station w/ little convenience store - and two banks - are very close by (don't be an idiot and use the in-house ATM's or credit cards - the processing fees for both at PM are insanely high, as are most costs there). At some point soon, there will be a Dunkin Donuts right next door (LOL) replacing the burned out KFC (yes, the KFC did literally burn down over a year ago, but that's a story for another time and place).

There's no way to sugarcoat this, but pretty much everything here is expensive. Unless you arrive before 8PM, in which case there is a discount on the cover charge ($5 instead of $20), and discounted drinks. By they way, FYI they typically will scan ID's at the door as well. Food prices (when there is a chef on-site, that is - which is most times but not super-late) are not necessarily too outrageous, but drinks and pretty much everything else is. The food is "okay". Do yourself a favor and try to get there a little early- you can always "pre-game" your food nearby at McDonald's or Hard Times Cafe. Drinks will be at least $12-$15 on up at standard pricing. Goes up from there. That said, their mozzarella sticks and chicken wings are actually pretty good, incidentally.
