I managed to escape for a few hours on a Sunday afternoon, and set my sights on close but reliable Sugars.

Basics: Sugars is a dive on the route 99 strip. It’s been a strip club under various names going back decades, it must have been Spartan even when new. The room is rectangular, upon entry there is a single stage in the far left corner, a non-alcoholic bar in the far right corner, and LDA + VIP rooms at the far right end. LDA is private, VIP is super private. Entry is $11, and working this day were 1 twenty-something AA + 1 early 30’s Caucasian + 1 DJ + 1 all-purpose door/bar-tool. Dances are $40 for one, 3/$100, and VIP is $30 for 15 minutes + $300 to the girl. Extras are very common here, especially during the dayshift. I spent $475 in total for 2 LDA dances and a 15 minute VIP.
