Where everybody knows your (fake) name
Millstream is in an area that feels like a small town swallowed up by sprawl. The parking lot of the club is a bit elevated from the road. It seemed perfectly safe though I do not know about the surrounding area.
Walked in around 7 and it was surprisingly bustling. 15-20 customers and 6-7 girls. (Now that's only a third full, but most clubs these days are empty outside of Fridays or Saturdays.) No cover. It's small enough to feel cozy, but big enough not to feel crowded. It's hard to explain, but it feels like a "peanut butter and chocolate" mix of a decent bar and a roomy club. The bar is relatively large taking up almost half the club. The other half is a stage and seating area. The cook was busy as were the bartenders. Crowd seemed friendly and working class, not that I go there to socialize.
There were 6-7 dancers. All were fit and attractive, 6-7 range. The hottest was Anna, a petite early 20s white girl. There was one other tall skinny white girl, and the rest were black or mixed. The music was 70s or 80s rock. They do a tip walk. Most girls hung out with regulars, I saw no pushiness for dances or rooms.
