Strippers, Cars, and A Midget
OH SHIT- I made a big mistake coming here tonight ! Let my initial thoughts be a word of caution for those considering coming here on Thursday nights. The big change is that the next door bar "Riveters" (club DJ plugs it for drinks and refreshments) sponsors a Car Show in it's lot every Thu. from 7p - 10p. People were lined up for over a block, and it was a struggle to find a parking spot. I'm talking crazy crowded. Moving on to club review itself.......
ATMOSPHERE/ COSTS : My initial arrival at 930p (I stayed until 1215a, nearly 3 hrs) didn't put me in the best frame of mind for 1st club visit in nearly a year. Fortunately, my mindset improved walking into club. Door lady recognized me ("Hello, where have you been, so good to see you again") and let me in at discounted cover charge ($15, night cover normally $25). Tasha (dancer I've known here since pre-Covid) was just coming on shift, and gave similar greeting. Club was uncrowded at this time (~ 1/3 capacity), maybe 10 dancers on shift with more coming. No bathroom troll (didn't show until after 11p). I get a small $5 bottled water. Lulu (petite, well toned curvy fair skin brunette) sidles up to me pitching dances. They're what I recall earlier ($40 per dance, 3 for $100, Upstairs Spaceship $250 for 15 minutes, $350 for 30 minutes was the universal quote for the night.
I like car shows as much as the next guy, but not when it interferes with my mongering. I like to keep those activities separate.
