Fun Night - Minimal Expectations

Penthouse is definitely an upscale, some might say snooty, club located just a block off of Bourbon St. The club itself is very clean, well-lit and has plenty of beautiful ladies to catch your attention. The main stage is at the very front of the room - dancers do a two song set and then rotate to a satellite stage in the middle of the room.

When I arrived I paid a $12 cover - went inside and did my customary 'hunt for the restroom' so I could get a feel for the layout of the space - and not get shackled by some dancer waiting for fresh meat to come through the door.

The look and feel of the club is one that is 'old building' nicely updated. I grabbed a seat at a table and a waitress was there in just a matter of seconds. Ordered a beer $8 - sat down to enjoy the stage show. Fended off three girls who were quick pouncers while I looked around to gauge the quality of the options. All the girls were good looking - variety of body types, mostly white and roughly 7-8 on the strip club scale.
