Slow start to Saturday night
I had a totally different experience on Saturday 12/3. See the previous review. I arrived at 4:30 and stayed until 7:45 pm. I usually come in on Tuesday or Thursday late afternoon and stay until about 9 pm, but I was in the area Saturday afternoon and went to EI after finishing some Xmas shopping. When I arrived there were three girls dancing on stage, mainly rotating around the poles. there were three girls giving lap dances in the back left corner. During the next hour a few more dancers came in and a few left only to return later. There were never more than 8 dancers on the floor and stage at any one time. And the dancers on stage were not trying to engage the audience. Some of the guys in the back row were getting lap dances that went on for three or four songs, so they must have been having a good time. To the girls' credit, there was almost no one on the right-hand side of the stage, so even though the left-hand side was moderately full, and a few guys went into VIP for a song or two, it was not a crowded situation as I suspect it became later in the evening. I had three lapdances with Ruby, but she was somewhat large and did not know how to move her weight around on your lap, so it was a somewhat uncomfortable dance. There was a young woman with auburn hair who seemed to be giving really nice and attentive lap dances, but she would disappear for long periods of time and therefore was not available. Most of the girls were not trying to hustle. Now the new sign in the Men's Room said that the tip-in for dancers who arrived after 4 pm on Saturdays was $55, so you wonder why the girls were not trying to at least make their tip-in even before a later crowd came in. I did find one of the more mature waitresses to be rather flirty, and enjoy patting her ass as she worked for tips. While she did not show any skin, she made the evening interesting. I paid $6 for a 12 oz Budweiser. Like the other gentleman, I noticed the church across the street was not charging to use their parking lot, and I thought that was strange. (I park about a block away and walk up the hill on Thursday nights.) The cover charge was $16 at 4:30. Since things were slow to say the least, I left earlier than I was planning on staying, and I doubt that I will ever come back on a Saturday evening. Fridays -- and even Thursdays -- are much better. And "flashing" was not even on the menu this night, compared to other visits. Have the rules in PG County become more strit again? Oh, the sign in the Men's room says that lap dance fees are now $9 a song, and I was paying $10 because it was more convenient, and I hoped the extra tip would generate more service. It did not.
